Our cutting edge water jetter systems utilize high water pressure to safely scour out the inside of your sewer line. Our plumbing services use an industrial grade trailer mounted water jetter that runs independent of your home’s power supply.
Before we run our equipment, we usually run a camera into the pipe to inspect it from the inside. Be sure to check out our specials section for a free video inspection. This is done for a variety of reasons. Some older buildings built near the turn of the last century still use ceramic and Orangeburg (wood composite) drains, which will require a different method of drain clearing. For other types of pipes there may be pipe damage that can be exacerbated by using the water jetter, and the type of clog must be ascertained. The water jetter can handle any clog type except a cave in, in which the use of a water jetter would cause damage to the line. The vast majority of drains qualify for water jetter use. Ideal clogged or obstructed sewer lines pipes are intact, are made of PVC (plastic) or metal, and have built up grease, small foreign objects, built up soap scum, or roots clogging them.
When we arrive at your property, we will discuss with you what we planned on, to see if you have any questions. Then we will gain access to your clogged or obstructed sewer line from the street. Once in the pipe, we feed in our high pressure hose and thoroughly blast out any root or grease obstructions using extremely high water pressure. After we are sure that the line is clear, we will close the sewer access, clean up, talk to you about what happened and billing, then leave.
It’s rare for clogs inside a house to be stubborn enough to grant the use of a water jetter. But in the cases that it is, we can either run hose from our trailer mounted water jetter units or have portable units that can be used inside the house. For many of these clogs we may have to briefly remove your toilet or gain access further down the line. Doing so adds minimal time to our service prevents the hose from getting stuck in the tight turns toilets tend to have, and removes the potential of the steel head to scratch the ceramic interior of your toilets.
In everything that we do, we believe that your house is your castle just like our house is our castle. That is why we make sure that all of our services are done with respect. We create a minimum of trouble in your life, operate with courtesy, protect our surroundings, and clean up after our work is done.
